The beautiful village of Samoens is a listed historical site holding a
Coq d'or award as one of the most beautiful villages in France. it is only 45 minutes from Geneva and is a fantastic all year
round holiday. Stunning in Spring, Summer and Autumn with an emphasis on outdoor life and superb skiing in winter.
Fountain place next to the Grandes Alpes
In spring and summer the climate is sunny and consistently warm ideal for outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking,
mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding and water sports. The apartment is well located for all these activities and
you are able to walk and mountain bike from trails starting outside the apartment. Nearby there is opportunities for fishing
and a superb outdoor swimming pool and lovely tennis courts with tennis tuition available in July and August. Also there is
excellent horse riding and donkey trips and guiding.
The downhill mountain bike championship is often held in nearby
Les Gets and you can take your mountain bike up in nearby chairlifts and descend downhill. Also Hot air Ballooning and fantastic
climbing. Alternatively there is an 18 hole Golf course and driving range in nearby Les Gets with tuition. There are also
plenty of opportunities for watersports nearby such as:
- Kayaking
- Rafting
- Windsurfing on Lake Annecy
and Leman
- Swimming in nearby lakes
or just sunbathe and have a BBQ on your own sundrenched terrace
Bike the famous Col de Joux from Samoens to Morzine (one of the most challenging stages on the tour de France) from
right outside our apartment.

Access
Samoens is located only 45 minutes from Geneva. From Geneva airport follow signs to France and Chamonix
Mont Blanc A40. Take junction 18 of the A40 at Cluses and follow signs to Samoens.
